Unbelievable! Lara Logan sexually assaulted in Egypt

On the same day Egyptian president Hosni Mubarak stepped down from power, a female 60 Minutes correspondent was brutally sexually assaulted in Egypt, her network revealed Tuesday.

"CBS correspondent Lara Logan was covering the jubilation in Tahrir Square for a 60 Minutes story when she and her team and their security were surrounded by a dangerous element amidst the celebration," says a statement released by CBS. "It was a mob of more than 200 people whipped into frenzy."

During the event, which happened Feb. 11, Logan "was separated from her crew. She was surrounded and suffered a brutal and sustained sexual assault and beating before being saved by a group of women and an estimated 20 Egyptian soldiers," the statement continues.

Logan, who had been detained by Egyptian authorities in Cairo a week earlier, finally "reconnected with the CBS team, returned to her hotel and returned to the United States on the first flight the next morning."

She is currently recovering in the hospital

In news almost as shocking as Camille Grammer clamoring for pity, a new report spoils the finale of Kourtney and Kim Take New York...

... and states that the series will conclude with Scott Disick "proposing" to Kourtney Kardashian. From there?

"Just like sister Khloe and Lamar, Kourtney and Scott will not only get their own show but also a wedding. It's going to be TV gold," an insider tells Pop Eater.

Kris Jenner, of course, is the evil genius behind Scott and Kourtney's planned reality show, which will follow the bride and groom as they pretend to argue over wedding details.

"What is going to make this new show a monster hit is that Scott and Kourtney are actually happier than ever," the source adds. "Heading toward the alter is the next step for them with or without the cameras."

HA! Without the cameras. This is the Kardashians we're talking about, right? That was funny.

UPDATE: Claims a show insider: "We WISH they would get engaged! But no news yet...They have promised to let us know if and when they pop the question!"

Let's file this story under 'Bizarre Celebrity Depictions.' As George Clooney descends on Cincinnati, Ohio, this month to film a new movie, local fans have gone above and beyond to capture his, uh, beauty.

According to NBC affiliate WLWT, local artists at Studio Vertu have created a 4-foot-by-10-foot mural depicting Clooney as Adam in Michelangelo's famous Sistine Chapel painting. Yep, Clooney's head has been placed onto Adam's body, sans clothes and reaching out to the hand of God.

And the mural, aptly titled 'God's Gift to Women,' is not just hanging in a local art gallery. The image, which was printed on Italian marble tiles, is prominently displayed on a wall outside Grant Street Studio.

"This is our homage to George Clooney," said Mark Schmidt with Studio Vertu. "We decided to have a little fun with it, roll out the red carpet in our own way."

Though not much is left up to the imagination in the painting, the image of Clooney's body is specifically cropped right at the waist.

"Well, I didn't want to compliment him, or insult him," Schmidt said.

Clooney is currently in town filming 'The Ides of March.' According to IMDB, the actor, who co-stars with Ryan Gosling and Marisa Tomei, also co-wrote the screenplay and is directing the film, which centers around dirty politics during a presidential campaign.

She debuted the duds on ABC’s Good Morning America Thursday.

 

"Today was a latex condom inspired outfit because we had to talk about safe sex," said Gaga, who wore nude latex pants, a latex overcoat, a white, exaggerated hat and flesh-toned implants around her eyes. "I really wanted to, head-to-toe, be representative of what we women and people all over the world need to be concerned about which is the leading cause of death in women all around the world which is HIV."

According to sources, Kacey, who already aborted K-Fed's baby in the past, plans to terminate the pregnancy soon, and never heard back from Charlie.
